Dwayne has worked 15+ years specializing in strategic planning, project management, and business transformation.

His career began as a Logistics Analyst for Natuzzi America Inc where his primary responsibility was managing cost and improving delivery efficiencies from port to the customer’s door.  During his tenure he established a warehousing system that reduced storage cost, established tiered service delivery contracts, and improved container pick up and return time.

After spending a few years in operations, Dwayne took on the role as Director of Operations for his alma mater, North Carolina A&T State University where he received dual B.S. degrees in Economics and Supply Chain Management.  It was here that he worked on an extensive business transformation process that included increasing the department profit margins while reducing cost, redesigning the campus procedures and processes to improve the customer experience, and upgrading the department’s technology including the development of online tools for the students.

After this experience, Dwayne worked the next several years serving as a consultant for hire working with startups and major companies.  Some of his assignments included working as Merger and Integration consultant for BB&T as well as a business process analyst, project manager, and user accept tester for Volvo Group NA working with their IT Department. Eventually, his last contract with Herbalife Nutrition turned into a full time position as a Lead Program Manager overseeing their global flagship product line as well as some international supplier moves for some of their European and North American operations.

In addition to his collegiate education, Dwayne has a Small Business Coaching license, Lean Six Sigma – Green Belt certification, and a Campaign Finance Compliance certification for the state of North Carolina.
