Kabir leads the Cybersecurity and Risk Management team for CREO, bringing over 25 years of cybersecurity and risk management experience.  He has extensive experience in leading business focused solutions for solving complex technology challenges including cybersecurity, risk management and operational resilience. He has extensive experience in consulting with medium and large organizations to mature their cybersecurity programs. Kabir has experience in various industry verticals including life sciences, federal, state, and local governments, technology, international financial institutions, and banking/insurance. His areas of specialty include third-party risk management, IT risk management, M&A IT due diligence, AI security, supply chain security, cloud security, application security and product security. He has hands on experience with various standards and regulations, including ISO, NIST, SOC 2, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, GDPR and PCI.

Prior to joining CREO, Kabir cofounded a technology company focused on simplifying the third-party risk management process. In this role, he was responsible for Product Management, Information Security and the Operations teams. Prior to this role, Kabir held several roles in small to large consulting firms (including Big 4) where he was responsible for assessing cybersecurity programs, conducting risk assessments and advising companies on enhancing and scaling their security practices. Kabir is versatile in translating technology risks and issues in terms of business risk and presenting to Boards and executive management. He adopts a risk-based and business strategy focused approach to solve complex problems.

Kabir has his CPA, CISA and CRISC certifications and serves routinely on various Boards. Kabir earned his undergraduate degree in Management of Information Systems and Economics from the University of Rochester. He has also completed his Masters in Technology Management from the University of Maryland, Global Campus and his MBA from the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business.
