With a diverse background in mechanical engineering, management consulting, and product marketing, Matt has consistently helped companies from early-stage startups to major U.S. Government agencies ideate, develop, and bring to market new technologies and systems.

Matt got his start as a process engineering and product manager for clients within the U.S. State Department, supporting software development and agile transformation initiatives. His stint as a Management Consultant for Accenture saw him implement and evaluate health and wellness programs for U.S. Department of Defense clients. His efforts to modernize military training programs through mobile delivery helped earn his program the Most Innovative Project designation across Accenture Global.

Passionate about innovation and entrepreneurship, Matt spent the next several years helping early-stage startups find market fit and plan for growth. He managed product for an IoT sensor company that raised $1.5M, set and executed sales strategy for an AI SaaS solution, ran operations for a social enterprise, and designed the go-to-market strategy for a senior care marketplace.

Matt holds an MBA from UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School with concentrations in technology and marketing, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Virginia where he focused on mobility for those with physical disabilities.
