With over 25 years of innovation in behavioral health services, achieving growth financing and successfully navigating complex regulatory affairs, strategic planning, management team development, sustainable growth, and the creation of revenue streams to drive shareholder value, Stacie is an engaged coach and leader who inspires loyalty, commitment to vision/mission/core values, advocates for equity, diversity, and inclusion among leadership teams and staff, and drives momentum while building a culture of accountability. She is a passionate advocate for building management teams for early stage through growth stage companies as a respected thought leader and public speaker on entrepreneurship, company creation/growth strategies, and healthcare field advancement.

As CEO and President, Stacie founded Veritas Collaborative, a national healthcare system for the treatment of eating disorders and grew the company to the largest child and adolescent eating disorders system in the world, with three Joint Commission accredited, Certificate of Need (CON) regulated hospitals and three lower levels of care in three Southeastern states ahead of a merger in 2020.

Prior, she founded Carolina House, a well-respected residential eating disorders program in Durham, NC under Bain Capital after recognizing the need to fill an important gap in service for college-age students through her role at Duke University Counseling and Psychological Services.

Most recently, as CEO of Couplet Care, LLC, a University of North Carolina spin-out, postnatal unit medical device, Stacie engaged in all related aspect of device commercialization deeply embedded in the entrepreneurial community for fundraising, grant writing, user-informed design and manufacturing, customer engagements, and regulatory affairs.

Board and advisory roles include the Advisory Council of University of North Carolina’s Gillings School of Global Public Health, VP for the Board of Directors for Caring House, a Duke Medical Center affiliated affordable housing option for patients and families being treated at the Duke Cancer Center; Board of Directors for the North Carolina Telehealth Network Association; Board of Advisors for ZealCare, a Duke spin-out. Earlier board roles include the non-profit Board of Directors for the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), and as Chairman of the Certification Committee. She has been recognized in Top 10 Female CEO of the Year (2018) by Charlotte Scoop, Member of the Year (2012), International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals; was awarded a United States Patriot Award for Employers (2011) and was named Executive of the Year by CRC Health Group (2008). She holds an MSW from the University of Georgia, and a Certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
