Steven Moore is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development, sales, and marketing. Joining CREO as the Chief Commercial Officer, he brings a wealth of expertise to this role. Equipped with a keen strategic mindset and a track record of achieving and surpassing targets, Steven is a dynamic professional driving success in the business development landscape. Over the last two decades, Steven has extensive life sciences experience in the areas of corporate, commercial and product launch strategy, digital transformation and cyber security, corporate and commercial compliance, as well as market access, government pricing and commercial contracting.
Prior to CREO, Steven served as the Vice President of Sales at Deloitte & Touche, LLP since July 2015, leading the integration of a business development team post the acquisition of Compliance Implementation Services (CIS). In his initial role, he trained hundreds of Deloitte employees, managed a team of sales professionals, and played a pivotal role in growing both consultative and managed services sales. Following this, he led sales for Deloitte’s Life Sciences Emerging Client Portfolio, consistently surpassing segment, portfolio and individual sales targets, with a notable achievement of exceeding $40M in individual sales for multiple years.
Steven’s journey includes significant contributions to the growth of CIS. Starting as the 3rd hire in the company, he held various sales and marketing positions culminating as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. He successfully achieved individual and company sales targets, developed business and product strategies, and led successful teams, growing the business from $900K to $60M in sales leading up to CIS’ acquisition by Deloitte.
With a diverse background, Steven also excelled in roles at Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as Marketing Manager, and Hatfield Quality Meats as Category Manager. His early career involved impactful positions at Information Resources, Inc., showcasing his proficiency in project management and data analysis.
A graduate of Muhlenberg College with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication & Business Management, Steven graduated Summa Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. In addition to his academic achievements, he was recognized as an Academic All American for golf. During his time at Muhlenberg, Steven’s golf team achieved remarkable success, winning multiple conference championships and earning a spot in the NCAA tournament in his junior year.
Residing in beautiful Skaneateles, NY in the Finger Lakes, Steven shares his life with his wife, Noreen, who is a writing professor at Syracuse University. Together, they are proud parents of two boys who are the light of his life; Luke, aged 12, and Keegan, aged 9. In his free time, Steven enjoys all things outdoors, especially golfing, hiking and fishing, and takes great joy in coaching and watching his boys play a variety of sports at a high level.
